Data handling principles
- Client data is never used for training. Not by us. Not by any model we deploy on your behalf.
- Least privilege access. Only the engineers actively on your engagement have access to your data.
- Data residency. EU-based hosting by default. Other regions on request.
- End-to-end encryption. Data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).
- Audit logging. Every data access is logged, retained for 12 months, available on request.
- Data deletion. Full deletion within 30 days of contract end. Certificate of destruction issued.

- ISO 27001 — in progress, target certification Q4 2026.
- UK GDPR — fully compliant. ICO registered.
- Cyber Essentials — certified.
- SOC 2 Type II — roadmap 2027.
Hosting & infrastructure
All Zinerge-managed infrastructure runs on Cloudflare (CDN/WAF), AWS eu-west-2 (London), and self-hosted Postgres clusters with daily off-site backups. We do not use shared hosting for any client production system.
Sub-processors
We use Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (where required), Stripe (billing), Vercel (some frontends), and Postmark (email). Full sub-processor list available in our DPA. You may opt out of any sub-processor at engagement start.
